How to Use an SMM Panel in 2026 (First Order, Step by Step)
August 28, 2026
By Vivek, operator of EthicalSMM. Written 28 August 2026 from the live catalogue — service IDs and rates below were on the panel that day.
An SMM panel is a catalogue. You pick a service, paste a public link, pay from a wallet, and the panel sends the order to a provider. You never give anyone your password. If a site asks for it, leave.
This is the first-order path on EthicalSMM. The same steps work on any serious panel. The difference is whether the service ID you clicked is the one that actually runs.
1. Create a free account
Register with an email. No “verification call.” You get a wallet and an API key. If you already have an account, sign in and skip this. The order form is the same either way.
2. Add funds — then stop at a test amount
Do not dump a month of budget on day one. Add the smallest deposit the panel allows, enough for one cheap service. A panel that delivers a tiny order will usually deliver a large one. A panel that stalls on a tiny order has told you everything.
Pay in the currency the site shows you. Switch display currency in the header if you need USD, EUR, or something else. The rate on the service row is per 1,000 unless the row says otherwise.
3. Pick the service ID, not the pretty name
Two rows can both say “Instagram Followers.” One is a cheap burst that drops. One is slower, refill-backed, and costs more. The ID is the contract. On 28 August 2026 our most-ordered Instagram follower row was #5958 at ₹62.24 / 1,000 (your display currency may convert that). Reel views were #6686 at ₹0.19 / 1,000.
Read the min/max, start time, and refill window on that row before you paste a link. If you do not understand a note, do not order it — open a ticket.
4. Paste a public link
Instagram: the post, reel, or profile URL. YouTube: the video URL. TikTok: the video URL. Private accounts and deleted posts fail. The panel cannot see a locked profile.
Quantity must sit between the min and max on that service. Going under min is rejected. Going over max is rejected or split — do not assume.
5. Read the status instead of refreshing twenty times
- Pending — queued, not failed. Common in the first minutes.
- In progress — provider is sending.
- Completed — the panel thinks the count was delivered.
- Partial — some of the quantity landed; leftover is usually refunded to the wallet. That is not a ban. See our note on partial delivery.
- Canceled / refunded — money back to the wallet, not to the original payment method unless the panel says so.
If a row sits on pending far past the start time printed on the service, open a ticket with the order ID. Do not place a second order on the same link while the first is still running.
What this will not do
It will not log into your account. It will not make a platform’s algorithm “love” you. Bought views and followers can still be removed by Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube — that is their rules, not a secret panel setting. Use drip-feed when you want slower delivery. Use refill-backed rows when you care about the count sticking for the stated window.
